BookWise Database

So, the story of this Book database software continues. As I mentioned before I do use this software myself, however it became apparent that there may have been some unanticipated constraints for new users. So, we have corrected the mouse controlled help page display and we have corrected the multi line database field entries : Book Title, Book Author, Book Subject. The main menu uses double clicks for mouse control and has it's own timing pre-sets. I wasn't trying to be selfish in this respect. The keyboard control for the app is always functional even if not obvious or intuitive. So to make up for it, we are continuing this freeware page for the BookWise software app and we have included a visible technical support contact in the 'about' dialog of the App itself. It's simple to download and install in Windows. Simply unzip with your preferred file decompression ( 7-Zip / WinZip ), and double click the installation file : 'BookWise_Setup_2.exe'. The default installation path is fine with the readme.txt in that folder ( C:\www.yodhar.com\Book_Database_App\ ) for help activating the software. The screenshot below also shows some typical App usage.

System Requirements

This software installation can be installed on Windows XP / Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 10 / Windows 11 and any subsequent Windows version, although we do recommend using Windows 10 as there is the possibility of additional administration tasks for satisfactory installation. If you are using Windows this app should run fine with any 64 bit specification (e.g. / 64 bit / Ram 1GB and above / 50 mb hard disk space / mouse optional ). Once installed it may be used in offline mode.
